76 Merc Mercury 440 Trail Twister vintage snowmobile Start Price USD 0.99 Current Price USD 1,025.00 Time Left - Bid Count 12 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Monday, August 25, 2008 End Time Saturday, August 30, 2008 Location Menahga, MN See more about '76 Merc Mercury 440 Trail Twister vintage snowmobile' Description 1976 Mercury Trail Twister 440 vintage snowmobile.  Sled is in very nice condition.  It has a new "Quick Shift" primary clutch on it from Image in Wisconsin.  This was about $300 alone.  The clutch puller is also included with this auction in case you want to put an original hex clutch back on the machine.  The hood is original and is not busted up at all.  It does have the typicaly spider cracks, but they are not too noticable.  There are a couple of small cracks in the ABS belly pan as most of these have near the spindle area.  The seat is very nice, everything works on the sled.  It has been set up to use on the trails.  The rear suspension is from an early 90's Arctic Cat and it has a very nice ride.  There is probably about 6 inches of actual travel in the rear suspension.  The track is in nice condition.  It is a rubber track.  The carbs, tank and entire fuel system has been scrubbed.  New fuel lines, filter and fuel.  This sled needs absolutely nothing and will make an excellent vintage rider for you.  You wont find another old machine with this kind of comfort on the trails.  The suspension actually works!  Feel free to ask any questions you may have.  I live near Park Rapids, MN.  The machine should be picked up at my home.  I can store it inside for a couple of weeks until it is picked up.  Selling at No Reserve.  I prefer a personal check, money order or cashiers check over Paypal.  Thanks for considering my auction!
