It is a very well made, accurate Airsoft replica of the real M24 used by the US Army. This is an Airsoft gun and can in no way be modified to shoot real firearm ammunition. It is powered by gas (green gas, red gas, HFC refridgerant) that is loaded into the detatchable magazines that also hold the Airsoft BB ammunition. I have used this gun a few times in the field. There are a few areas where the paint has rubbed off slightly but it is hardly noticeable. The gun can always be touched up using basic Krylon Olive Drab spray paint. The gun works perfectly and the magazines do not leak. It is a highly accurate Airsoft weapon capable of hitting soda can sized targets at up to 75 yards in ideal conditions.
