The belay is 39' long with a swivel carabiner and was used on a wall 25' high with no incidents of failure or malfunction.  I've been very happy with the product and would highly recommend.  I've trusted the device to work for myself (210 lbs.) in addition to my 9 year-old and 6 year-old children.  Considering that they were used in a salt air environment they have held up extremely well. Device comes with 2- 7/16 steel locking biners to attach to anchor.  Belay does not lock-up when you fall but slowly lowers you to the ground.
