2008 North Rebel 14 Kiteboarding Kite and Board Package Start Price USD 500.00 Current Price USD 500.00 Time Left - Bid Count 5 Buy It Now Price USD 1,600.00 Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, November 29, 2008 End Time Tuesday, December 09, 2008 Location Coronado, California See more about '2008 North Rebel 14 Kiteboarding Kite and Board Package' Description John Clemmons takes impeccable care of his gear.  Here for sale is one of Mr. Clemmons' amazingly well preserved kite setups.  The '08 Rebel was an instant classic, with lots of power, great jumping ability, great relaunching, huge airs, bow-like depower, and unbeatable performance in the waves.  Because Clemmons lives in San Diego where winds are extremely light, he spent most of his time on his Rebel 16, meaning the 14 has very little time on it.  The kite is pristine, crispy and clean.  The only issue is that one of the wingtip battens broke when packing the kite into the bag, though all of our '08 Rebels did this and it never affected the performance.  No bladder issues or rips or repairs of any kind.The board is a custom 5'10" x 18 1/4" shaped by none other than the respected SoCal kite/surf shaper Mike White.  The board has no dings, and comes complete with a full set of Surftech glue on straps with integrated inserts and NSI straps.  The strap and pad setup is worth almost $200 on their own.  The board has lots of volume throughout making it a lightwind weapon that will work well when quite powered also, in a large range of wave sizes.  In a word, it's awesome.As John wants to hold onto his bars and harness, we're throwing in our own '07 version of the North 5th Element.  The entire lineset including the depower lines, flying lines, and 5th line were all recently replaced and have plenty of life.  We're also including a Cabrinha seat harness, though we have many other harnesses, and if you'd like something different, feel free to contact us to discuss harness and size.Just to make sure we're clear...
